Women in the Frederick community are in the process of bringing a community event to the forefront this March, combining a tea party with a fashion show.
The WISH Afternoon Tea and Fashion Show will be bringing the Frederick community together for a celebration of philanthropy while allowing for networking and new friendships with like-minded attendees. The fashion show will feature local women taking the stage to show off the latest clothing styles and trends from local designers. They will be joined by community style partners from Vetted Health for an energetic experience for all involved.
The afternoon will begin with the tea party, with attendees having a wide variety of tea selections to choose from, along with light bites and snacks, including scones. Organizers can work with local Print shops to produce printed materials that display the tea options and the ingredients for the snacks, to ensure a safe experience for guests with dietary restrictions.
The fashion show will start after the tea party, with the models stepping into the spotlight. Attendees will have the chance to purchase their favorite pieces. A silent auction will also be held, offering both experiences and unique items.
The Delaplaine Arts Center in Frederick will host an afternoon of fun on Sunday, March 15, with doors opening at 1:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased online for $49.87.
