The town of Frederick boasts a long tradition of well-known local artists, and an upcoming festival will be celebrating the unique contributions they have made.
The 32nd Annual Frederick Festival for the Arts has become a tradition over the years, so guests can expect to enjoy a unique opportunity to appreciate just how far the community has come.
The event is slated to feature more than 100 artists specializing in a wide range of disciplines. Genres on display include baskets, rugs, textiles, glass sculptures, jewelry, mixed media, ceramics, sculptures, painting, and photography.
Another distinctive feature of this event is how the audience can become proactively involved. Guests are encouraged to bring along their art supplies to draw, paint, or sketch the nearby scenery throughout the day. Additional activities include face painting, wood turning, and glass blowing exhibitions.
Annual events that are already familiar to the public will frequently use marketing techniques that have worked well in the past. Common examples include banner printing, handing out informative Flyers, and placing Brochures in art-related venues.
The 2026 Frederick Festival for the Arts is scheduled to be held on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14. Doors open at 10:00 AM on both days and close at 5:00 PM. All activities will be held within Carroll Creek Linear Park located at 44 South Market Street. There is no charge to attend.
