Frederick residents gear up for thrifting event
A thrifting extravaganza is being planned in Frederick for next month, giving area residents the opportunity to shop for vintage clothing, household items, and more.
The Key City Thrift Expo is coming to Frederick soon, bringing dozens of vendors to one spot to provide a convenient and memorable shopping experience for thrifters in and around the town. The thrifting festival will offer a family-friendly environment, and children are welcome to accompany their parents.
The goal of the festival is to support sustainable shopping practices and share vintage clothing items with shoppers who will enjoy them. Live music will provide entertainment and a welcoming soundtrack for the experience. Food and beverages, including beer, will be available from local vendors and food trucks. Banner printing is a colorful way to welcome attendees to such festivals while providing impressions for event sponsors and local businesses.
VIP tickets will be available for an additional cost, and these guests will receive early entry to the venue, a limited-edition tote bag, and a beer ticket from Olde Mother Brewing Company. General admission tickets will be available for purchase online and at the door. Children 12 and under can enter for free.
