Easter festival to be hosted in Frederick

This April, the second day of the Frederick Spring Eggstravagana is set to take place in the community.

Activities involved in this Easter event include snacks, meals, beverages, music, hayrides, an Easter egg hunt, story times, craft stations, chances to meet farm animals, and games. Vendors present at the Frederick festival include Idiom Brewery, Gabby’s Goodies, Granny Peake’s Southern Sweets, and The Caramel Kettle Gourmet Popcorn. Banner printing provides vendors who display items at festivals with a useful way to line their booths with colorful printed decorations.

For anyone who wishes to join the event, tickets are available for age groups including children ages 14 to adults, children 10 to 13 years old, 7 to 9 years old, 3 to 6 years old, and for children ages 2 and younger. Tickets are free for children 2 years of age and younger and cost $12 for all other age groups. Guests who bring a non-perishable or canned good to contribute to the food bank at St. Peter’s Catholic Church will receive $2 off the general admission price.

All doctors, nurses, police officers, and firefighters who attend the event will also receive a $2 discount off ticket prices

The Spring Eggstravagana is scheduled to begin at 12:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 3 at 2 Kids Farm.
