Art collectors and enthusiasts will want to keep an open schedule for next month, as a unique art festival and market is being cooked up in Frederick.
The Cocktails and Carousels fall fundraiser has nearly arrived in Frederick and is being organized by the Frederick Arts Council. The gathering aims to generate funds that support arts programming throughout the town and the surrounding county. Attendees will get to enjoy music from performing artists and bands while enjoying light snacks and refreshing beverages. Alcoholic beverages will be available, and guests are asked to drink responsibly.
Other highlights of the fundraiser include a silent auction of carousel-related art, a live auction of refurbished carousel horses, and the opportunity to network and connect with artists and like-minded individuals in the local arts community. Business card printing is a superb way to exchange information with potential connections met at such festivals and events.
The cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served at 5:30, at which point the silent auction will also begin. After the cocktail hour, the event’s hosts will welcome guests and highlight FAC initiatives before starting the live auction. Art is available for purchase via Checks, cash, and credit cards.
