What's Happening in Columbia, MD…

Top tribute act to perform in Columbia

Green River, which is a tribute act to Creedence Clearwater Revival and John Fogerty, will perform in Columbia over the Fourth of July weekend.

Green River is led by Rick Horvath, who has built a strong national reputation for its faithful recreations of CCR’s signature swamp rock sound.

Since forming in 2011, Green River has developed a loyal following and has become known for dynamic live shows that honor CCR’s legacy. Horvath, a New York native nicknamed “Noodles,” first performed Creedence songs at the age of 13. His lifelong connection to music inspires the band's energetic and authentic performances.

Green River’s setlist typically includes classics such as "Bad Moon Rising," "Fortunate Son," and "Proud Mary,". The band's name pays homage to Creedence Clearwater Revival's 1969 album Green River, which was certified Gold in 1970 and went triple Platinum two decades late.

Tickets for the show are available at $34.39 each, including a $4.39 fee. Options include floor, bar, booth, and general seated areas. All ticket sales close on July 5, and no refunds are being offered.

Poster printing can be used by organizers to provide attendees with details about events such as this one.

Green River will perform on Saturday, July 5 at 8:00 pm at The Collective—Encore, located at 10221 Wincopin Cr, Columbia. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
