Columbia marks 30th season with holiday performance
The Cartoon Christmas Trio, recognized for interpreting beloved holiday classics, is set to return for its 30th anniversary season.
Formed in 1995, the ensemble specializes in the works of Vince Guaraldi, most notably the score to A Charlie Brown Christmas. The group has become a staple of the holiday season, bringing audiences a blend of nostalgia and world-class jazz musicianship.
The trio features pianist Jeff Knoettner, bassist Rob Swanson, and drummer Larry Marshall. Together, they bring more than a century of collective experience in both performance and music education. Over the years, the group has performed at notable venues including the Kimmel Center and World Café Live, while also making appearances on NPR and major television networks. Their concerts focus on cartoon music while appealing to audiences of all ages.
Seating options are available at $28.89, with booth, bar, and floor seating all available. Tickets include a $3.89 fee, and all purchases are non-refundable. Tickets can be purchased through the Eventbrite listing.
Event organizers may note that poster printing is one effective way to expand awareness and increase community participation in seasonal programs such as this.
The performance takes place on Sunday, December 14 at 7:00 pm at The Collective – Encore, 10221 Wincopin Circle, Columbia, Maryland, 21044. The doors will open an hour before the show begins.
