Training event to be held in Beltsville

A training day for professional installers is scheduled in Beltsville.

The upcoming OSI Certified Training workshop is presented by Pella Mid-Atlantic. The organization is one of the largest service and sales distributors in the network of Pella associates.

Since they work with doors and windows, and with both contractors and homeowners directly, Pella Mid-Atlantic experts emphasize how vital correct installation is to the success of a project.

The workshop offers professional training to help attendees build their business. Training is based on ASTM standards. ASTM stands for the American Society for Testing and Materials. The organization was formed in 1898, and publishes almost 13,000 ASTM standards every year to improve safety, materials, and construction techniques.

The trainers at the workshop are professionals with years of experience in the industry, having trained thousands of installers. They will use the latest techniques in building science, along with a simple, user-driven process, to help installers improve. Installers will learn how their techniques can help their builds resist weather more reliably, for a longer period of time. In addition, attendees will receive a 15-year warranty to protect their work.

The class is on Thursday, July 11 beginning at 8.00 am, in the North Beltsville Business Center at 11900 Old Baltimore Pike. When events like this are planned, their organizers can contact Print shops to develop course materials.
