SPARC (Sports Performance And Research Center) will host a basketball exposure and development combine in Beltsville this November for seventh- and eighth-grade girls preparing to transition into high school competition.
The four-hour program will combine athletic evaluation with skill instruction, competitive play and educational sessions. Participants will complete testing in areas such as speed, agility and explosiveness before taking part in basketball drills conducted by SPARC coaches.
Athletes will also compete in officiated scrimmages observed by high school coaches and talent evaluators from the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia region. Organizers plan to provide educational guidance about high school basketball and long-term player development while giving participants opportunities to connect with coaches and scouts.
Each athlete will be included on the official roster distributed to attending coaches and evaluators. The event is intended to give younger players a structured opportunity to demonstrate their abilities while identifying areas for continued development before entering the high school level.
Athlete admission has a base price of $150. Eventbrite adds an $11.90 service fee, bringing the listed total to $161.90 per participant. Refunds may be requested until 48 hours before the event. Participants younger than 18 must attend with a legal guardian or parent, and complimentary parking is available.
Organizers of youth athletic showcases often use poster printing to promote registration information, evaluation activities and event schedules.
The 2026 SPARC Middle School Girls Combine is scheduled for Sunday, November 1st, from 12:30 to 4:30 pm at 10801 Rhode Island Avenue, Beltsville, Maryland.
