The Lash Artist Classic And Volume Training class is scheduled to take place in Beltsville next month.
Hosted by the Laveda Lash and Brow Boutique, this training event recurs every month to give students a chance to receive certification. Previous experience is not required to attend this all-day course.
The first half of the curriculum will include an explanation of different eye shapes and lash types, sanitation and safety rules, lash kits, and a chance to practice on a mannequin. The second half will center on further practice, lash retouching, lash removal, how to address common issues, and an introduction into advanced lashing.
Participants from Beltsville and other nearby communities will receive bonus class materials, a home kit and the opportunity to practice on a live model on another day at no cost. Hosts of training events often use flyer printing to create course handouts.
The total registration cost for this eight-hour course is priced at $750. Participants are required to pay an initial deposit fee of $200 during online registration and the remaining $550 on the day of the course.
This lash training certification event is set to occur at the Lavedo Lash and Brow Boutique in Hyattsville on Monday, November 3, and again on Monday, November 30 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on both days.
