Event near Beltsville prioritizes womens health

Studies have shown that there is a gap in healthcare provided to men and women, with women’s health generally not prioritized. An upcoming meeting near Bethesda wants to address this issue.

Top Ladies of Distinction are hosting TLOD Goes Red for Women’s Health, an in-person event that will take place at VFW Post 8950, located at 9800 Good Luck Road in Lanham, a short distance from Beltsville. The purpose of the meeting is to raise awareness of the need to put women’s health first.

TLOD is a non-profit organization that has more than 125 chapters nationwide. Its purpose is to advance the general welfare of communities by extending, promoting, and encouraging activities that improve people’s lives.

Organizers are scheduling informative and fun sessions where experts will share information on subjects such as physical, nutritional, and heart health. They will also have tips on how people can learn to live a healthier life.

Attendees will also be able to view exhibitions, take part in health screenings, and enjoy fun activities that enhance basic well-being and promote fitness. In addition, attendees will have a chance to meet others who share their thinking, discuss their experiences, and join to build a community that works to support the health of women

The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 3, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm, and is the perfect occasion for attendees to network and exchange Business Cards.
