An event is coming up in Greenbelt, a short distance from Beltsville, that will allow everyone to get crabby.
The University of Maryland Eastern Shore Greater Annapolis Alumni Chapter (UMES GAAC) is the host of the upcoming Crab Feast, which is an annual event. The menu is all-you-can-eat crabs, but assorted menu items and desserts will be available, and a cash bar is planned. A 50/50 raffle is also on the schedule, and proceeds will help support graduating seniors in Anne Arundel County who have been accepted to UMES, as well as students returning to the university.
The venue is Martin’s Crosswinds, at 7400 Greenway Center Drive in Greenbelt. Martin’s is a caterer that has been in business for more than 55 years. The company prides itself on its attention to detail and will work to ensure the evening meets all the needs of the UMES GAAC. Martin’s has become known for such varied events as Quinceañera Days, trade shows, expositions, seminars, corporate meetings, feasts, box lunches, and even bull roasts.
The Feast is scheduled for Sunday, July 23. The time is from 3.00 pm until 7.00 pm, and it is limited to those age 21 and above. Tickets are $75 each.
