Residents of Beltsville who enjoy board games will also enjoy an event coming up in nearby College Park.
Independent board game designers from the local area need feedback on their games, and are asking players to make suggestions while the games are still in development. The event will appeal to anyone who has ever played a game and thought they could make it better, or perhaps made different design choices.
The playtesting event being hosted by Break My Game gives them this chance. Participants will play games that are still being designed so they can provide feedback before the game reaches its final version. Events like this are perfect opportunities for like-minded professional attendees to exchange Business Cards.
Game designers need to register their game with Eventbrite, but those who would simply like to play a game need not register. The event is free, but Break My Game would appreciate any donations people would like to make; the donations can also be made through Eventbrite. Break My Game, Inc., is a registered 501(c)(3) charity, and any donations can be taken as a tax deduction.
To meet health regulations, everyone will need to show proof of complete vaccination, and the vaccine must have been administered at least two weeks before the event. A photo of the vaccine card on a phone is sufficient. Participants will need to wear masks that cover both their nose and mouth, except when drinking or eating.
