Beltsville area explores certification and compliance system training

A Certification & Compliance System Training class is set to take place next month close to Beltsville.

The Office of Central Services for Prince George’s County will host this event. The organization comprises several service units, including Human Resources, Budget and Finance, Information Technology, Arts in Public Places, Administrative Support, Land Acquisition & Real Property, Energy Management Capital Construction, and the Contract Compliance Unit.

The Contract Compliance Unit organized this three-hour event and hosts it once per month for individuals who wish to learn how to utilize the Certification and Compliance System (CCS). The Office of Central Services provides the CCS for business owners to register their organizations. Attendees from Beltsville can attend this event virtually and learn about topics including an introduction to CCS, the vendor directory, contract modification and payments, and how to fill out a certification application. When taking part in similar online classes, participants often visit local Print shops to produce physical copies of event-related references.

New business owners can purchase tickets to this free event online. Participants will receive the event Zoom link between one to two days before the class is set to begin.
