An upcoming event in Beltsville will bring artwork and spirits together in a celebration of all types of creativity.
The Installation / Distillation evening will be held in the Shmidt Spirits Distillery, which organizers will make over into a marketplace and art space. The venue will give local craftspeople and artists a place to display and sell their work to members of the public. In addition, musicians from the local area will play throughout the entire event. Flyers are great products to use to advertise events like this, and organizers can create them using flyer printing.
Attendees will also be able to enjoy free samples of the spirits the distillery produces, which include gin, and two different types of rye whiskey. Bottles of spirits will also be available for purchase, as will craft cocktails. Shmidt prides itself on making distilled spirits that are works of art.
This is Shmidt’s second Installation / Distillation event. The first one was so popular that people asked if and when they would hold another, and the answer is coming up soon. The distillery hopes to make the activity a yearly event. At present, Shmidt is still adding artists and musicians to the list of participants, and will be announcing changes as the date comes closer.
The Installation/Distillation for 2022 is scheduled for May 21, from 7:00 pm until 11:00 pm, at Shmidt Spirits on Southard Drive in Beltsville. An Early Bird special is currently available for tickets.
