The Baltimore Farmers Market and Bazaar

To be held every Sunday until December 23, 2012 is the Baltimore Farmers’ Market and Bazaar. The Farmers’ Market is located at the Holliday and Saratoga streets beneath the Jones Falls Expressway. Each Sunday, the market is open from 7am until 12 pm. This year will mark the 35th anniversary of the Farmers’ Market.


For the unique items and foods that can be found at the Farmers’ Market, the Farmers’ Market offers phenomenal deals according to several shoppers. Items that are sold there include: fresh baked goods, bison, rabbit, goat, seafood, vegetables, pork, fruit, lamb, poultry, beef, milk, herbs and several other rare and good eats. There is no shortage of originality here. Shoppers come year after year to partake in rare finds and eats that otherwise could not be found elsewhere.


In addition to the raw products, cooked items are also savored and sought after year after year. A multicultural eating area offers cuisines, such as quiche, burritos, wood-fire pizzas, dumplings and something for the vegan taste. Also found at the Farmer’s Market and Bazaar are items like unique crafts, pottery, stained glass, wooden items, hair accessories, handbags, collectibles, rugs, clothing and the list goes on and on. There is just about something for everyone. Each vendor uses banner printing to attract customers to their ware.
