Rockers coming to Baltimore

Two bands known for their heavy metal sound and powerful lyrics are on the way to Baltimore.

Y&T is returning to Charm City soon, with MindMaze as their special guests. Y&T (the band was first called Yesterday & Today) first formed in Oakland, California, in 1974. They were active from 1974 until 1991, took a break, and began performing again in 1995. Y&T has recorded for a number of labels including Geffen, Universal, and A&M, and London, and has sold more than four million albums around the world. They are a heavy metal, glam metal, hard rock band, best known for their hit song “Summertime Girls.”

A review of Y&T calls their show “incredible,” noting the band played for more than two hours, performing 23 songs. The reviewer singled out the band's frontman, Dave Meniketti, for his amazing vocalization after 45 years in rock.

MindMaze is also a heavy metal band, and one of the few with a female vocalist, Sarah Teets, as the frontman. They have released three albums and an EP, and last time they performed in Baltimore, a reviewer said they “packed a decent punch.”

The show is scheduled for February 18, starting at 7:00 pm, at the Baltimore Soundstage on Market Place. Flyer printing can be used to create handouts advertising events like this, as well as programs for the event itself.
