The Baltimore Museum of History will host a multi-day concert in April that brings together Old Time Stringband musicians.
The 5th Annual Baltimore Old Time Music Festival is an event where people can enjoy multiple days of workshops and concerts that celebrate the folk arts. This year, the groups performing at the fest include The Onlies, The Horsenecks, and From Africa to Appalachia. All artists featured in the performance lineup will lead workshops at the festival on topics such as old time rhythm, the basics of old time banjo, and fiddle tunes from women. There will also be a working printing press at the fest, which may interest those working for local Print shops.
Companies interested in financially supporting the event and promoting their brand to attendees can become sponsors of the Baltimore Old Time Music Festival. Those who pay at least $200 will have their names featured on the back of the program, while businesses that pay $500 or more can have their logos placed on the program. Organizations can be shown on event Posters and shouted out on stage by paying $2,000 or more.
The music fest will be held from Friday, April 19 to Saturday, April 20. There will be a pre-festival welcome party held on Thursday, April 18 and a post-festival brunch on Sunday, April 21 for those who want more old time music experiences.
