Social Studio in Baltimore will be holding a winter course for children on how to make original Holiday Cards.
Printmaking - Holiday Cards is a workshop held at the Social Studio where kids will be taught how to create their own handmade cards safely. Likely to be ideal for anyone looking for a career with publishers or Print shops, students will discover new printmaking techniques during the courses.
Those who partake in the class are demanded by the studio to put on a face mask, and children who experience fevers or flu-like symptoms should not attend the lesson. The capacity of the workshop will only allow eight students to attend each course.
The Social Studio was founded by Genie Arnot in 2019. Arnot has worked as a volunteer at The Children’s Museum of the Arts and has previous experience as an elementary school teacher. The studio offers several programs, including a Creative Process Seminar, Adult Open Studio, and an Advanced Art Series. The venue is also utilized for birthday parties.
The cardmaking workshop will meet on four dates between Tuesday, November 30 and Tuesday, December 21. The cost to attend an individual session will be $28 per class, while the price of an entire semester is $100 per student. Discounts are available for participants who are siblings. Each lesson lasts from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
