Baltimore train museum to hold toy drive

The Greater Chesapeake Foundation will host a toy collection event in Baltimore at the B&O Railroad Museum.

The Stuff the Train Toy Drive and Holiday Extravaganza is a charitable event where people can help bring joy to youths in the community. Attendees are asked to bring unwrapped toys for infants, children, and teens. The organizers will distribute the gifts to several local organizations, like the Casey Cares Foundation, the Center for Adopt Support and Education, and Believe in Tomorrow’s Children Foundation. Many performers will attend the event, such as Santa, strolling magicians, and a stilt walker.

Companies can become a sponsor of the extravaganza by paying between $1,000 and $10,000. The packages will offer benefits such as logo recognition in the promotional materials at the museum, tickets to the toy drive’s dance party, and social media shout-outs. The Presenting Sponsor of the event will be verbally acknowledged by the DJ during the dance party, and can attend the toy deliveries.

The toy collection event will be held on Wednesday, December 6th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Adults can pay $20 to attend the toy drive, and admission for children will cost $10. There is no cost to park at the venue. Foundations planning local charity drives like this may use Print shops to make customized marketing materials for their holiday events.
