The Baltimore Faerie Faire will hold an event in March where people can dress in fantasy-related costumes and dance in a gala.
The Spring Fairy Ball is an experience that invites cosplayers and fantasy lovers to become creatures like elves, gnomes, orcs, and trolls for an evening party. The venue will have many activities, such as a tour of the Burying Grounds of Edgar Allan Poe and live music. The 27th St. Klezmer Band and the Clipper City Crew Band will provide the music. People can purchase costumes and props from the on-site vendors.
Those who can legally drink can visit the cash bar at the ball for wine made by Royal Rabbit Vineyards. The winery was founded by Roy Albin more than 30 years ago. The facility is located in Parkton, Maryland and hosts activities like wine tastings. The company produces many types of wine, including Chatelaine’s Blush, La Belle Dame, and Courtly Love. Royal Rabbit Vineyards won a gold medal during the 2016 Comptroller’s Cup Competition.
The fairy-themed ball will be held on Saturday, March 23 and will begin at 7:00pm. Tickets to the fantasy gala will cost $150 per person. Attendees can pay $50 to receive art cards made by Joanna Barnum.
