The Generation Write Now Creative Writing Workshop Series is set to take place in Baltimore this February as a virtual event streamed from the Enoch Pratt Free Library.
Generation Write Now is a literacy program for children between ages 5 and 18. Authors Ashley Graham and Tony Logan created this organization to help students strengthen their writing and reading skills and prepare them to succeed in the world of publishing.
The Creative Writing Workshop Series will be divided into four sessions. The program will focus on helping middle schoolers grades 6 to 8 to improve their writing skills. Participants, along with a parent or guardian, can register online for the series.
Each workshop will focus on how kids can sharpen their creative writing abilities, learn how the publishing industry works, and write a story that will be included in a published book featuring a collection of other works. Before the Baltimore event starts, Generation Write Now will mail each student a kit that contains all necessary materials, including a workbook. When creating physical materials for similar events, organizers often use high-quality printing services to create detailed printouts.
This creative writing program is scheduled to proceed as a Zoom meeting every Tuesday throughout February from Tuesday, February 2 to Tuesday, February 23. Each workshop is scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm.
