Baltimore to hold conference on safety regulations

The medical association DIA will organize a convention in January at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor.

The Global Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management Strategies Conference is an event where people can learn important information about the medical and drug safety industries. The conference is designed for many types of professionals, including medical writers, clinical researchers, and quality controllers. Attendees can browse exhibits from companies such as Techsol Life Sciences, Orbit by Feith Systems, and AWINSA Life Sciences.

There will be several notable speakers at this year’s conference. Guests can hear from James Buchanan, the president of Covilance LLC, and Mariette Boerstoel-Streefland, the senior vice president of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Company.

The convention will feature discussions on topics like how to use data to make regulatory decisions, benefit-risk assessments, and clinical trials. There will also be a presentation on the difference between small and big pharma.

People who purchase their tickets before January 4th will also receive discounts for the convention. Those who attend professional conferences like this can depend on business card printing to create sharable information about themselves that can be given to new contacts.

The conference will be held from January 27th to January 29th. Industry professionals can pay $2,710 to attend the convention, and discounts are available for members of DIA. There are also reduced prices for students, nonprofit organizations, and government workers.
