Baltimore race to celebrate St. Patricks Day

The Baltimore Road Runners Club (BRRC) will organize a festive race in March to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Those looking for an active way of celebrating this the national day of Ireland can attend a 5K coordinated by the BRRC. The racing portion of the event will take place at Patterson Park, and the afterparty will be held at the Patterson Park Public Charter School. Runners may dress in festive clothing to celebrate the holiday. Beer will be served at the charter school after the race is completed. Outdoor holiday activities like this can use banner printing to attract the community’s attention.

The BRRC is a running club that offers races, training programs, and member events throughout the year. The organization is open to anyone in the running community, regardless of skill level or age. Those who become a member of the BRRC get discounted admission to races, an invitation to the group’s summer picnic, and several volunteer opportunities. Club members are not required to live in the Baltimore area and can be part of multiple clubs.

The 4th St. Patrick’s Day 5K will be held on March 18 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Limited free parking will be available around the park, though runners are encouraged to use a rideshare app or carpool to the event. Registration details will be posted on the activity’s webpage closer to the 5K’s date.
