The Northwest Baltimore Partnership will hold an outdoor food festival in August at the Pikesville Armory.
The Taste of Northwest Festival is an event where attendees can browse local businesses and participate in family-friendly activities. Many food vendors will be part of the fest, including the Plantation Park Heights Urban Farm, Delisha Peruvian Cuisine, and Juicing with Jazz. People can watch a fashion show by YBI African Apparel and enjoy music entertainment from DJ Smally. There will also be resource tables from community organizations at the food fest.
The Northwest Baltimore Partnership is a group comprising nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and businesses. The partnership was founded in 2018 to strengthen the community. Many programs have been created by the organization, such as One Park Heights and the Oral History Project. The group is also involved in projects like the LifeBridge Health Center for Hope, Cold Spring Lane, and the Park West Health System Expansion.
The food fest will be held on Sunday, August 18 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. There is no cost to attend the festival, though people can register in advance for a chance to win prizes during the afternoon. Attendees are allowed to bring their own blankets and chairs to the fest. Partnerships that host similar community events to this may use banner printing to create eye-catching outdoor ads for their festivals.
