The Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce, along with BLocal and Baltimore Integration Partnership, is teaming up to host a vendor fair aimed at helping small businesses that want to learn how to work successfully with government agencies.
The workshop is entitled ‘Procuring Opportunity: A Procurement & Reverse Vendor Fair for Small Businesses’, and will provide information to small businesses so they can learn how to win contracts from major corporations and institutions in Baltimore. Events like this can benefit if organizers use flyer printing to create informative materials for attendees.
In addition, there are also four workshops aimed at small businesses. One will focus on obtaining certifications and contracting to work with the government at all levels, and a second will show subcontractors the best ways to win more construction projects.
The third workshop is hosted by BLocal, and will tell attendees about the BLocal program, and how they can participate in it to increase their business. The final workshop focuses on more artistic endeavors, will show entrepreneurs in the arts and culinary fields how to work with Baltimore's major institutions.
The fair is set for February 15, from 7:30 am until 12:00 noon. The event is free, but attendees will need to register in advance.
