Baltimore will be organizing a race in June to help fund a local nonprofit organization that benefits bicyclists.
Bikes & Beers Baltimore is a charitable event where people can cycle through the city while supporting the group Bike Maryland. Before the ride begins, participants will receive complimentary pastries and coffee. Representatives from local cycling shops will be available to perform Checks on bikes prior to the race. The event also has rest stops for bikers, and a mechanical support vehicle will offer assistance on the course to those in need.
Once the race is completed, cyclists can meet up at Union Craft Brewing to be given two free beers from the brewery. Non-alcoholic beer is available for non-drinkers and those who are under 21. Participants in the event will also receive a commemorative pint glass, drink koozie, and collectible bike plate. The afterparty will have live music, raffles, and a merch tent. Companies with stalls at charitable gatherings like this may use banner printing to improve their booth’s visibility.
Bikes & Beers Baltimore will take place on Saturday, June 4. The 15-mile race will cost $70 to join, and the 30-mile race can be entered for $80. There will also be a 45-mile course that adventurous people may take on for $90. Discounts are available for cyclists who register in advance. Those interested in only attending the race’s afterparty can pay $35.
