Richmond’s White Hall State Historic Site is a former mansion that is now a popular venue for hosting events, and it has scheduled a special activity that it hopes will attract lots of vintage fans.
The venue has organized its first Vintage Day, and it is being planned by EKU Conferencing and Events. As it will be family friendly, all ages are welcome, and admission starts at $10.00 for adults. Discounts will be available for seniors, military members and children.
The attendees at the gathering will find themselves immersed in a pop up market style experience, and they can browse and buy through the antiques and vintage goods for sale. Handmade crafts will also be featured, and the vehicle buffs can head to the classic car show. Local food trucks will be rolling in for the day, and each ticket includes a self-guided tour of the mansion. Due to its age, the venue is not ADA accessible.
Historic sites can help to encourage a community interest in its past by offering special celebrations for the public. Specialized printing services can be used to prepare materials with a historical flavor, which can help to build the desired atmosphere.
September 13th will see White Hall State Historic Site celebrate the history of the area. Admission will begin at 11:00 am.
