A Richmond venue will be kicking off fall with an activity that is new to its autumn calendar, and it will be all about celebrating the past.
White Hall State Historic Site has set the date for its first Vintage Day. The activity will include everything from a craft market to a car show, and plenty more besides.
People who are part of the celebration can shop for locally sourced crafts and antiques, and those who appreciate vintage vehicles can spend some time admiring the entries in the car show. Each ticketholder will also be offered the opportunity to enjoy a self-guided visit to the White Hall mansion. A local food truck has been invited to be parked on site for the day, and the festivities will be running for five hours.
The organizers are interested in hearing from local crafters and antique collectors who would like to reserve a space in the market, as well as anyone wishing to enter the car show. Both are free of charge, and include a tour ticket. A banner printing company will be able to provide a variety of both decor options for those setting up shop in an event.
White Hall State Historic Site will be welcoming all for its first Vintage Day on Saturday, September 13. Anyone who would like to reserve a spot in the market or show can find more information on its web listing.
