High tea was once a popular tradition for Richmond residents, and an upcoming event will give everyone a chance to take a step back in time to those days.
A Victorian-style holiday high tea service will be hosted at White Hall Historic Site, and the whole family can enjoy the festivities. An open house-style tour of the site is included with each visit, and tickets must be reserved in advance.
Each ticket holder for the tea will be treated to a light meal while they relax and catch up with family and friends. Everyone will be all to learn about some of the more popular holiday traditions that were in vogue during the Victorian era, and tickets are $45 each.
It was noted by the organizers of this holiday activity that the site may not be accessible to those who require a mobility device. Anyone who requires seating on the first floor has been asked to contact the planners ahead of time at dani.gift@eku.edu.
Not-for-profit groups often choose to hold holiday-themed fundraisers to help support their activities throughout the year. A banner printing professional will be able to supply decor at a range of price points.
December 18 has been set as the date for this Victorian-themed holiday celebration. The doors will open at 5:45 pm, and tickets can be purchased through its etix.com listing.
