An event that will offer a chance to be a superhero for a Richmond child is on the agenda for this coming summer, and it will be an adults only celebration.
The Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Madison and Clark Counties is a volunteer driven program that provides support for abused and neglected children who are in the Family Court System. The organizers explained that it has being hosted thanks in part to support from Richmond’s Community Trust Bank, and tickets start at $75.
The guests at the soiree will have a chance to mingle and network, and while they do so, they will be invited to enjoy cocktails and an assortment of large and small bite dishes. A photo booth, music, dancing and a live auction will help to build an exciting atmosphere, and a silent auction is also in the works.
This will be the second year for this formal fundraiser, and its organizers are hoping it will be a big success. A clever Logo Design may help to make a function like this even more popular, and these can be prepared by the graphic arts team at a local printing services company.
The 2nd annual CASA Superhero Gala will transform members of the public into everyday heroes on August 7th, with doors opening at 7:00 pm. The EKU Center for the Arts will be providing space for the celebration.
