Richmond library to screen The Secret Garden

Richmond will be making the most of the final days of summer by bringing the community together for an evening that will include a screening of a family-friendly film.

The Madison County Public Library system serves a variety of roles, and one of these is to act as a hub for the community. It has scheduled an installment of its Movie After Dark initiative that will see the screening of a film adaptation of a popular children’s novel.

The Secret Garden, based on the book by Frances Hodgson Burnett, has a runtime of 101 minutes. Those interested can bring along a blanket or portable seating, and once they have secured their spot, they will be able to set it up and get comfortable. Parents may want to dress their little ones in pyjamas so they can go straight to bed once they have left for home, and pizza and beverages will be served.

For any movie night, a poster printing company may be tasked with preparing materials that let families know it is on the way. It will have services available at a variety of price points, and it can help its customers choose the one that suits them best.

This special evening out will be offered to Richmond families on Friday, September 8, starting at 6:30 pm. It will be screened at the branch located at 507 West Main Street.
