Richmond kids to enjoy superhero meet and greet

Comic Books offer a fun way for kids and adults alike to increase their literacy levels, and a Richmond area location has scheduled a party that will celebrate everyone’s inner superhero.

The community room at the Chestnut Street in Brea branch of the Madison County Library has organized a special event that will feature some special guests. It is for kids who are preschool and elementary age, and their parents or guardians can look on and enjoy the excitement on the faces of the guests.

The activity will celebrate Free Comic Book Day, and the plans include the distribution of free comics to all kids who come out. There will be costumed characters on hand for the guests to meet and interact with, and there will be plenty of fun photo ops. Ice cream will be served to the attendees, and everyone will be invited to craft and take home some projects they can keep as a memento of the day.

Encouraging kids to read often involves some outside-the-box ideas. A poster printing company can help to build the buzz in the community about upcoming events, and many of the options available will be budget friendly.

This invitation for Richmond kids to release their inner superhero will be held on Saturday, May 6. It will begin at 1:00 pm.
