Floracliff Nature Sanctuary has a special event in the works to celebrate Earth Day 2022, and it will visit the springtime woods for an organized outing.
The Richmond area site will see a group of walkers enjoy an early spring stroll, and as they go, they will be on the lookout for returning birds and plants that are getting started in the new growing season. It will be on mostly paved, level surfaces, and those who need a mobility device are welcome to join in.
Everyone who registers for the excursion is reminded that they should bring their camera so they can get some shots of the birds and other animals they might spot. Hiking poles, water and a snack are also recommended, and three will be seating available for anyone who would like to spend some time at the bird feeding stations.
The run time for this outing is three hours, and tickets to participate are $10. Many organizers of nature hikes choose to order trail markers and other signage from a local printing services company, which will also be able to provide Letterheads, registration Forms and other customized Stationery.
This visit to the Floracliff Nature Sanctuary will be setting out at 1:00 pm on April 22. The meet up location will be announced at a later date.
