As Richmond kids prepare to return to school, a local event will bring families together for an early August celebration.
Madison County Public Library Outreach (MCPL) will be one of the not-for-profit groups on hand for the Back to School Bash celebration that will be on offer at Irvine-McDowell Park. The venue can be found at 345 Lancaster Avenue.
This fun and informative event will include many activities, and a booth manned by the MCPL will be giving away an assortment of Promotional Products that may be useful to returning scholars. The kids can have their faces painted as well, and the adults will be able to discover the supports and services that may be helpful to area families. Admission is free, and the public can stop by at any time during the event to join in the excitement.
A community celebration often attracts a crowd, and a banner printing company can help to keep a function organized by crafting signage and their decor. These items may be made using materials suitable for indoors or out, and there are even options that may be used over and over.
This back-to-school celebration will kick off at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 4. Any questions or concerns can be directed to Outreach Services Coordinator Brandon Thompson at brandon@madisonlibrary.org.
