Richmond crafters to enjoy weekend of creative relaxation

Craftspeople can benefit from the energetic environment that comes with working alongside other creative minds, with an event coming up in late February.

A Scrap and Craft Retreat will be held in the Historic Boone Tavern Hotel and Restaurant, and it promises to be fun, social, and most of all, relaxing. The planners explained that it will give all the attendees a chance to unwind, and there will be unlimited time for the attendees to work on their various projects.

The sky’s the limit when it comes to creativity during this Richmond weekend, and card making, scrapbooking, knitting, quilting, sewing and crocheting are just a sampling of what will be going on. Those who are interested can choose to register on their own or as part of a group, and the fee includes a table to work at as well as a padded chair and entries in the door prize and other draws. Meals and accommodations may be available on site.

One of the perks of the weekend is that each ticket holder will go home with a selection of swag. These goody Bags will be filled with Promotional Products and other fun items for the crafty set.

The Berea Scrap and Craft Retreat 2021 has been planned for February 26 to 28. The venue can be found at 100 Main Street N. in Berea.
