City Fest 2024 is on the way to Richmond, and it promises to be an activity with fun for all.
The Richmond Chamber of Commerce and Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) will jointly host the year’s installment of the popular celebration. It will be held in the EKU Powell Plaza, and the presenting sponsor for the day will be Whitaker Bank.
Guests at the event will be treated to an assortment of food, all on the house. There will be special guests taking to the podium, and live entertainment is in the works as well. The gathering is intended to foster camaraderie between the city’s “town and gown” aides, and community members, EKU faculty, staff and students are all on the guestlist. Vendors need to reserve their spot by tomorrow, August 27, and members of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce will be able to access a special booking discount.
