Richmond career fair planned for commercial drivers

A Richmond recruiting fair may help those in the truck driving industry connect with their dream job.

Schneider, one of the region's top shipping and logistics companies, is looking for new personnel to join its team. For that reason, it has organized a recruiting event for Madison County Public Library, which will be open for four hours. RSVPs can be made now.

The function is open to all skill and experience levels, from recent graduates on up. It will have information available for anyone who would like to obtain their commercial driver’s license, and everyone will be encouraged to ask questions. They can learn about various incentive programs the company offers to its drivers as well, as its payment system and other perks, and it' i free to participate.

Career fairs give the public an opportunity to match up a job with their own skills and experience, while also supplying a chance to meet potential employers face to face. Business card printing services for an occasion like this will be on offer at a printer, which can also prepare a variety of other custom materials.

Schneider will have representatives on hand for its recruiting event, which will begin at 1:00 pm on April 26. It will run until 5:00 pm, and the company’s website provides additional details about the event, as well as its pay structure and other benefits.
