A Richmond park that provides opportunities to enjoy fun in the great outdoors will be marking the arrival of autumn with a special series of events late next month.
Ft. Boonesborough State Park will be giving people a spooky good time when they take part in its Halloween Fest XXIX. It will be taking place on select dates, and the agenda for these occasions will offer seasonal fun for all ages.
The schedule includes 13 days of activities with a Halloween theme, making this its biggest installment yet, according to its event listing. There will be free putt-putt golf as well as ghost walks, camper decorating competitions, and costume contests. Everyone can take a seat for the bean supper and pancake breakfast, and the kids can spend some time making a craft to take home. Live entertainment and trick or treating will cap off the celebration.
When organizing a contest for kids, planners often order custom designed award certificates from local Stationery printers. They can prepare a unique graphic design in house, and many of the services they offer clients will be kind to their budget.
Fort Boone State Park will be treating its campers to fall merriment starting on Tuesday, October 17. It will wrap up on Sunday, October 29, and the contact person can be reached at (859) 527-3454.
