Richmond campers invited to hop into spring

Campers who would like to get a jumpstart on the season are invited to include a local event in their plans.

Just a few miles from Richmond, Ft. Boonesborough State Park Campground will be welcoming families for an Easter-themed weekend of activities. All registered campers will be able to enjoy the fun, and a special guest will be stopping by for photo ops and to meet with the kids.

The schedule for the celebration includes an egg hunt as well as organized games, crafts and a parade. The Easter Bunny will be spending time with the young campers, and parents can snap photos of the excitement. Free continental-style breakfasts will be served to the campers on Sunday, and the weekend will offer a chance for the participants to get together after a long winter.

Hosting this sort of function can be made a lot easier with assistance from a local printing company. It can offer banner printing options as well as activity sheets for the kids, staff uniforms, and other items, and its graphic design team can work with customers to offer items that fit into the budget set for a particular event.

The Egg-citing Easter Fest will be welcoming spring from March 26 to March 28, and more details about the festivities can be found on the park’s website. The email contact for the site is jack.winburn@ky.gov.
