A special event is on the way for Richmond kids, and they are invited to take part along with their favorite stuffed pal.
Teddy bears and other “stuffies” will be the guests of honor for a sleepover that will be held at the Madison County Public Library, and it will give kids a chance to have fun while they learn more about what the library has to offer. Staff will be on hand to facilitate the hands-on activity, and it will wrap up the next morning.
The kids who participate will be able to check in their fuzzy friend, and the facilitators will ask them questions about their bedtime routine. The stuffies will spend the night in a tent set up for the occasion, and the participants will be able to make a name tag and read them each a story before its time to go.
The next morning, the kids will be able to pick up their toy, and breakfast will be served on site. The contact person for the activity is Ashley Householder who can be reached at 859-623-6704.
The winter can sometimes feel very long to a child, and communities often offer a variety of events to help keep boredom at bay. These can be promoted through the use of a community calendar, and these sorts of publications may be produced by local printing services companies.
This overnight camp in for Richmond’s stuffed playtime pals will be held on 507 West Main Street on January 14. The activity will run from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
