Richmond area accepts applications for summer craft festival

A local community is set to roll out the welcome mat for artists from all across the country, and the whole family is encouraged to drop by in person this summer.

The Berea Craft Festival will welcome more than 110 creators, artists, and artisans from the Richmond area for three days of fun. All ages are welcome, along with friendly pets, although all dogs must be leashed to enter the venue.

The function, which has been scheduled for Indian Effort Theater, is expected to attract a diverse group of artisans. Additional artists are encouraged to join in the excitement, and their applications will be processed for this juried activity on a first come, first served basis. The price to book a 12-by-12-foot space is $300. The celebration will be held outdoors to take full advantage of the fresh air and sunshine.

Preparing to participate in a market or other pop-up may include choosing Business Cards and other marketing materials. These will be on offer at area Print shops, which will be happy to supply their clients with the materials they need.

This year’s Berea Craft Festival will be running from July 7 to July 9. It has been organized by the team at Berea KY Tourism, which can be reached at 859-986-2540 for anyone interested in taking part.
