Richmond 4th of July to be filled with fun

The Fourth of July holiday is right around the corner, and Richmond campers may want to be sure they have reserved their site for a special celebratory weekend.

Kentucky State Parks manages venues across the state, and one of these is Fort Boonesborough State Park. The venue will be offering campers a special selection of activities in honor of the nation’s birthday, and it will be for those who are registered to camp only.

One of the activities on the agenda is a camper decorating contest. There will also be crafting sessions and fun for the kids as well as hayrides, a parade, free guided tours of the venue, and many other ways for the attendees to enjoy this summer celebration. Anyone who has questions about the event is asked to call 859-527-3454.

When hosting July 4th celebrations, businesses and non-profits may turn to local banner printing companies for assistance. These enterprises can provide everything from bunting and decor to printed tickets, vendor contracts, Letterheads, and other business Forms.

Fort Boonesborough State Park has rolled out the red, white, and blue carpet for this special activity, which will run from June 30 to July 4. It is located at 4375 Boonesboro Road, and further information for those who would like to park their trailer or pitch a tent can be found on the Kentucky State Parks website.
