The 11th annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky gala is taking place this April in Lexington. Set up to recognize businesses that go the extra mile for their employees, it is presented by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resources Management (KYSHRM).
Guests will enjoy a reception at which they can network with their Kentucky business peers, and this will be followed by a dinner banquet. They will also have the opportunity to honor the top employers in the state.
The awards are given out in the categories of small (15 - 149 employees), medium (150 - 499 employees) and large businesses (more than 500 employees). Each category has over 20 winners, chosen by the Best Companies Group. This will be based on surveys provided by Kentucky businesses that considered the view of employees, company policies, and business procedures.
The winners will no doubt want to let the public know they have been chosen. Those companies based in Lexington may contact local printing companies to order a flyer or brochure.
The Best Places to Work in Kentucky dinner is being held at the Lexington Convention Center on April 14, beginning at 4:30 pm. Tickets are $125 for Chamber and KYSHRM members and $150 for nonmembers. Tables for 10 are also available. Call 502-848-8727 to learn more about this upcoming event.
