Meeting brings national foresters to Lexington

Members of the National Association of State Foresters will begin converging on Lexington this September to network, learn, and provide a forum for leaders to speak.

The National Association of State Foresters 2026 Annual Meeting has announced the dates to interested individuals who are considering registering, providing a chance to learn about the industry's latest trends and developments. The annual meeting, which has been held each year since 1920, is expected to attract more than 200 wildfire leaders and forestry experts from around the United States.

Guests will have unparalleled networking opportunities at this year’s meeting, with organizers ensuring the time and setting to meet and talk with the industry’s decision-makers. Foresters and others considering attending will want to invest in business card printing for quick, effortless impressions that share contact information and make networking a walk in the park.

This year’s meeting is expected to be a microcosm of decisions being made at the national level. The focus will be on making informed decisions to produce the best outcomes. Participants will also have four tours in Lexington to choose from when registering, including Maker’s Mark and the Bernheim Forest & Cooperage.

The meetings will be held over four days at the Hilton Lexington, starting at 8:00 AM on Monday, September 21st, and ending on Thursday, September 24th. Reservations are available online starting at $850 for current and former foresters, and $450 for other guests.
