Southern Lights Festival offers three miles of scenic holiday lights

Starting at the end of November, the Southern Light Festival at Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington offers holiday lights, train ride, train display, petting zoo, visits with Santa, crafts, pony and camel rides, and food.

Visitors can drive through the park in the evening by car to see a dazzling light display for three miles. There will lighted figure of Santa, horses, horse-drawn sleighs, trains, trees, reindeer, the Twelve Day of Christmas, and snowmen. After touring, guests can park and visit the many holiday attractions.

Children can visit Santa and have their photo taken for a small fee. There is a petting zoo and food on sale to feed them. The mini train ride and train exhibit are free. This special train exhibit has a village, lights, and trains running.

Camel and pony rides are available. Holiday crafts will be on sale with jewelry, toys, ornaments, clothing, Mugs, T-Shirts, wreaths, knitted items and more.

Food trucks and restaurants will be serving food during the festival. There will be sandwiches, salads, soup, burgers, grilled cheese, corn dogs, chicken tenders, pizza, tacos, coffee, beer, soft drinks, and desserts.

The Southern Lights Festival runs November 30 to December 31. It is open Monday thru Thursday from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm and Friday to Sunday from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Printers design Posters and provide poster printing for event like this.
