Scarefest 2022 seeks volunteers

ScareFest 2022 will be bringing back the frights with more than 100 vendors registered for this year’s event.

This will be ScareFest’s 14th year celebrating horror. Revelers will be entertained by a film festival, costume contests, and a chance to interact with celebrities. Flyer printing could be used to advertise such an event.

The event’s organizers are looking for volunteers. Attendance at this event tends to increase slightly every year which means that staffing needs are constantly changing. Anyone over the age of 18 who would like to become a part of the organizing team is encouraged to reach out with an application.

More than 150 volunteers are needed to help out with the festival. Selected volunteers will be required to attend a mandatory orientation session and all three days of the festival. They will be required to know the venue’s layout and details about every show. Benefits of being a volunteer include three-day access to the festival’s seminars and events outside of the work shifts, VIP Party Passes, and a Plus One Pass for a lucky relative or friend.

ScareFest Weekend is scheduled for October 21st and ends on October 23rd at Central Bank Center in Lexington. Three-day weekend passes are retailing for $65, 2-day Saturday & Sunday passes are $50, Friday admission is $25, Saturday admission is $30, and Sunday admission is $25. First responders and veterans get in for free on Friday, and kids under 12 get free access all weekend.
