Rodeo event returns to Lexington

Lexington's annual rodeo and music event, “Bulls, Bands, and Barrels,” will be returning to the city in a few weeks. The event will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park Alltech Arena.

The event will be three hours in total. Local music stars Cole Chaney and Logan Halstead will be the opening act just before the rodeo competitions begin. After the champion is announced and awarded, country star Zack Bryan will perform. Fans will be able to climb into the arena and stand in front of the stage for the performance.

In the competition schedule, the bull-riders will be first. If they can manage to spend eight seconds on a bull, they will be able to move on to the championship round. Barrel racing, in which horse riders compete to get their animal through the course the fastest, will be next. After this will be a show of freestyle bullfighting presented by Ultimate Bullfighters.

The event will take place on Saturday, February 12 at the Kentucky Horse Park Alltech Arena, which is located at 4089 Iron Works Pkwy. Tickets will start at $30 for adults and $15 for children. More information can be found on the Bulls, Bands, and Barrels' official site. Promoters of such events often use banner printing, particularly above the entryway to the event, as a form of signage.
