University of Kentucky College of Medicine will be hosting the Region X Regional Medical Education Conference (RMEC) which is an event that unites the Region X community, with the goal of showing medical students how to evolve into:
"clinically excellent, culturally competent, and socially conscious physicians."
The conference aims to spotlight the experiences and progress of minorities in both medical professions and as patients, shedding light on their unique challenges and triumphs. The event will feature a dedicated pre-medical symposium, offering attendees immersive clinical workshops, an informative admissions panel, and a stimulating research symposium. Participants will have the chance to take advantage of numerous networking opportunities and more engaging sessions. Business Cards tend to be exchanged at such events.
Researchers are also invited to submit their abstracts for the Research Forum by November 3rd, offering a platform to showcase their innovative work and contribute to the conference's scholarly atmosphere.
For individuals seeking travel sponsorship, the organizers will be providing sponsorship letters upon request.
The conference will be held on 8th December at the Gatton Student Center in Kentucky. A notable addition to this year's RMEC is the formal banquet and closing ceremony scheduled for the evening of December 9th. Attendees are kindly requested to dress in business professional or formal attire for this special occasion.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
