Lexington serves up new sandwich shop

Steins by Addie’s opened in late December in Lexington KY. The New York-style deli is owned by the former owners of Addie’s at the Woodford Inn in Versailles, which has now closed.

The owner, Linda Parker, says she wanted to open a deli that served sandwiches like corned beef, chicken salad, soups, and breads. Spokesman Eric Miracle said they plan to have meatloaf on the menu, as well as ice cream.

Their menu features four different soups: a vegetable soup, spicy chili, a chicken soup served with matza balls or noodles, and a special soup of the day. The eatery will offer food to take home to eat and cook in the oven, and some of the takeout foods are baked spaghetti, chicken pot pie, and casseroles.

The restaurant will be open for lunch and an early dinner Monday thru Saturday. Lexington has Print shops that design promotional Pens for businesses like this.

Offering catering and event space for special events, the menu has appetizers like bagels and lox, pimento cheese sticks, and hummus and pita chips. Sandwiches are served with chips and a pickle.

Customers can order side dishes of potato salads, and a variety of regular salads, and can finish their meal with desserts like carrot cake, cheesecake, banana puddings. The deli has a causal dining tables and chairs, and is located at 450 Southland Drive.
